Not that you can tell from the awful quality of these photos, but this is my new velvet shirt! It cost me a whopping 30p, yes 30p! Cost me more to have it dry cleaned! Thank you Hathersage jumble sale! It's velvet and also Planet, so not an awful item or anything! Very good indeed!
I wore it draped over my gorgeous new dress from Ark, East 192. It has a dotty star pattern all over which is quite unique, and the collar/neckline is great. Some may say that detailing on necklines/collars is a trend from 2011 (Chanel did it amazingly) but I beg to differ and just couldn't resist this! Reduced too. It looks great with my silver choker. Love how the silver in the shell buttons of the shirt coordinate with the silver choker and dress. Thinking it will look nice with some heeled bloack leather chelsea boots too, once I get round to buying some!
I also paired the shirt with a belt over a plain grey long sleeved maxi dress. To be honest the shirt looks great with anything, looks fab tied too.
